Croydon Carnival celebrates Croydon's diversity and resilience. We are a registered Non-Profit Limited by guarantee company (08239060), any surplus of funds we raise are reinvested back into the company.

The Croydon Carnival is now an annual event originally created by the London Road Business Association as a community response to the riots. This free event celebrates what is so special about West Croydon’s unique diversity of food, religion and culture.

The importance of bringing the community together cannot be over stated, and events like this improve the reputation of the area, giving businesses the opportunity to promote themselves locally. Croydon Carnival promotes unity, giving young people the opportunity to get involved either in terms of performing or working on the organisation behind the scenes.

Julie and Ganapathy initiated the inception of the carnival in 2018, as a responsive measure to uplift the realm of football and foster a vibrant atmosphere on London Road subsequent to the occurrences of strikes.
